ONE BASED IN NORTH AND NORTHWEST

ONE BASED IN LONDON AND SOUTHEAST

What do we do?

Open Door People is a registered charity that helps talented young people who do not have the financial support or resources to gain a place at one of the UK’s leading drama schools. We work with people who are serious about pursuing a career in either acting, backstage or production Arts. We work to break down any barriers they may face, allowing them to compete for a drama school training on a level playing field and go into auditions and interviews feeling prepared, confident and without the worry of financial strain.

Open Door was named Winner of ‘School of the Year’ at The Stage Awards 2019 and as one of the Big Issue’s ‘Top 100 ChangeMakers 2019' and awarded a BIFA special Jury Prize 2022 for contribution to the arts.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for a two hard working, passionate and driven individuals to join our small but dedicated team to support us the recruitment of our 2023/2024 cohort.

This will be done with direct communication to appropriate organisations via email, phone calls, face to face meetings  building and cementing relationships across the area, and bring the Open Door programmes to people who will benefit from it the most. 

One person based in Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester or the surrounding area and one in London or the surrounding area.
